MOSCOW, Apr 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.2% from March 24 through Monday from 0.3% in the previous week and reached 1.5% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Sugar prices increased by 3.5% in the reported week, and prices for eggs grew 2.3%. Buckwheat prices rose by 2.2%, rise prices by 1.2%, poultry prices by 1%, prices for beef, flour, and macaroni by 0.6–0.8%, and prices for port, lamb meat, canned meat, sunflower oil, and salt by 0.3–0.5%.
Automobile gasoline prices remained flat and diesel fuel prices fell 0.1%.
